Recently, many customers have encountered inconsistencies in the inquiry process, especially the distinction between silicone material and PVC material is the most blurry. The following Jinhonsilicone editor has sorted out the general differences between the two materials.
The silicone trademark (also known as the Silicone trademark) is formed by heating liquid silicone oil and solid silicone in a mold through a vulcanizer. According to its nature and composition, it can be divided into two categories: organic silicon and inorganic silicon. Inorganic Silicone is a highly active adsorption material, usually made by reacting sodium silicate with sulfuric acid, and after a series of post-treatment processes such as aging and acid bubbles. Silica gel is insoluble in water and any solvent, non-toxic and tasteless, environmentally friendly, stable in chemical properties, and does not react with any substance except strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid. Various types of silica gel have different microporous structures due to different manufacturing methods. The chemical composition and physical structure of silica gel determine that it has many characteristics that are difficult to replace by other similar materials: high adsorption performance, good thermal stability, stable chemical properties, and high mechanical strength.
The PVC rubber stamp trademark is mainly a plastic product made by dropping a liquid material into a mold using a drip molding process, heating, baking, and cooling after a period of time, and finally pouring the mold. The main components of the PVC rubber seal are DNP oil, PVC powder, stabilizer, and soybean oil formulated into a liquid state.
The main difference between the silicone trademark and the PVC rubber stamp is that the material feels different. The silicone rubber has a higher environmental protection coefficient, which can be tested by the European Union. The PVC rubber stamp has a stronger smell and the environmental protection coefficient is not high.
